I wish you could see how I feel for you, 
feelings for you that are, oh, so true,
feelings that make me sometimes cry,
because I feel I get nowhere, no matter how hard I try.
 
Trying to make you happy has been my number one priority,
though sometimes your happiness is my misery.
I'm miserable because I wish you felt this same way.
Eventually you will, one of these days.
 
On that day, I will be so happy,
just to know that the person you love is me.
Maybe you'll even love me the way I love you,
then you'll understand why I'm willing to do the things I do.
 
The crazy things that I'll do for love,
things that you would never think of.
But now it's too late, your love is in vain,
because you allowed me to suffer through too much pain...
 
Pain that was caused by loving you,
because to me you just could not be true.
If you had been true, you wouldn't have been the reason I've cried,
you would have seen and appreciated how hard I've tried.
 
I should have been on the top of your list of priorities.
Now it's time for you feel my misery.
You'll be miserable when you realize I don't feel the same way. 
I know you probably thought you would never see the day...
 
The day when I won't care if you are happy,
because the person I'll be loving is me.
You could never love me the way I've loved you,
because you never will understand, for love, what I'd do.
 
You'll go crazy when you can't be with the one you love,
you'll hate it when memories of me are all you can think of.
I see that my love was not in vain,
I finally got you to love me, but now it's your turn to feel my pain.

Will You Marry me

We've been together for a while now, and I need to let you know
Just how it would make me feel inside if you ever let me go.
My heart would break without a doubt, I don't know what I'd do
The pain would be unbearable, I can't bear the thought of losing you.


We've had a lot of good times, and we've shared a lot of the bad
But we are always there to help each other when one of us is sad.
You are more than a friend to me, you're my soul, my life, my love
And since the moment I laid eyes on you, I've thanked the lord above.



Although we're together now, let's hope there's many more years to come
You'll always have my heart, you've always been that "special someone."
The way you've held me in your arms over these past few years
And the way I'll always be there for you, to wipe away the tears.



You know you have my heart, and I hope I have yours, too
I'll stay by your side forever, if that's what you want me to do.

I know at times I have not been the best,
and there were times that I have failed your tests.
There were days when you were oh-so alone,
a couple of sad times with no-one's fault but my own.

I would give you anything I can, anything at all,
I wish I could be there to catch every tear that might fall.
I wish that forever wasn't just a word you say.
